Personal Training sessions are totally customised to the individual client’s goals and injuries,
limitations and preferences. Multiple machines and weights, props and bands will be incorporated into a session.
Sessions can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes in duration and can be totally private or performed with one or two others depending on preferences and budgets.
Kirsty is a stickler for technique and will motivate, demonstrate and coach clients from beginning to end of their session.
Private sessions can be anything the client choses out of the services provided at Recharge Plus. This enables clients to benefit from all fitness services whether it be: weights, yoga, pilates or relaxation.

Semi private Pilates Props classes at Recharge Plus are guaranteed to provide a whole-body workout. All sessions blast
the key areas that most women complain about, namely; core, inner thigh, outer thigh and butt! Attention is also given
to the back, arms and chest and focus on the posture and pelvic floor.
Recharge Plus Pilates Props classes are challenging! If clients do two of these classes a week, they will definitely tighten up. We use Pilates props such as glute bands, sliders, Pilates balls, hand weights and magic circles to really get the burn. Moans and groans are common and a great deal of satisfaction and total relaxation is felt at the end of the class. Suitable for all fitness levels. Working at your own pace and respecting your body is respected at Recharge Plus.
Kirsty has put together a Pilates Circuit style class to really get your heart rate pumping and strengthen the muscles!!!
All exercises are timed with just enough rest to get you to your next round.
Recharge Plus Pilates Circuit classes are challenging! They differ to the Props style classes due to the tempo and repetitions. All levels are welcome though as you can only get stronger from where you start off!
Pilates Circuit sessions blast the key areas that most women complain about, namely; core, inner thigh, outer thigh and butt! Attention is also given to the back, arms and chest and focus on the posture and pelvic floor. You’ll build muscles and feel energised after each session. Most exercises can be performed with body weight only but the addition of booty bands and some light weights will take you to the edge!!
Kirsty has written some meditation scripts to take you on your own private journey for a little while to help you let go of any stresses or tensions you are experiencing and reconnect with your inner zen. Each journey is unique but the sole intent is the same – for you to relax your mind and body from top to bottom, inside and out and to bask in the beauty of a deep state of peace and relaxation. In the Beginners Yoga sessions, Kirsty compiles beautiful sequences to strengthen and stretch the whole body, while working on mindfulness and developing your inner Zen. The fundamental yoga poses are explored with slightly more advanced options often available should you wish to take them. The sessions often culminate in a guided meditation. Namaste!
Also referred to as “Yoga for the joints”, Yin Yoga gives us the opportunity to work at around a 4 out of 10 level to enjoy some stillness, work with our breath and practice the art of surrender. All poses are floor based, so there is no standing work. We get into a position and hold it for a few minutes – I usually work at around 3 minutes. It is a fairly silent practice where we learn to breathe, release, let go and ground ourselves. Yin Yoga is terrific for stress, anxiety, insomnia and grounding. Great for the joints and stretching tired, stiff muscles. Blocks, a strap and a bolster aid in getting into the deeper release found in these poses. Add this into your program once or twice a week and your mind and body will thank you for it!
A class dedicated to lengthening the muscles, using the breath and calming the mind. A deep stretch is great for overworked, tired muscles, alleviating any pain and niggles and amazing for grounding us so we can reset and start again! Highly recommended especially if you’ve been working out hard, stressed and low on sleep. Great to be followed by a meditation in your own time and / or a magnesium bath!
One on one or one on two Pilates sessions are totally customised to the client’s individual body, specific goals,
weaknesses, rebah or strength work required. These sessions use the Pilates Reformer bed and the Fuse Ladder to
really target key areas, strengthening and lengthening the muscles. Mat work and props are also incorporated as
required. Safety is our top priority at Recharge Plus and we focus on getting technique spot on and correct core
and pelvic floor engagement before we add load, to ensure correct activation and muscle recruitment to build
strength and prevent injuries.
Pilates offers terrific rehabilitation from injuries, building core strength, improving posture and increasing whole body strength and flexibility.
Trained in Vinyasa and Yin style yoga, Kirsty also has years of experience in other modalities and can take the pace up or down to suit the needs of the class. A whole body work out will be provided in a beautiful private studio, with gorgeous Lululemon yoga mats and blocks. Classes wrap up with use of beautiful cushions, blankets and lavender scented eye masks as clients are taken though a beautiful guided meditation or whole-body relaxation

Practicing yoga assists children in developing invaluable coping skills when faced with new challenges, helping them to grow strong mentally and emotionally, and cultivating self-esteem for life. Most importantly, all of this is achieved whilst having FUN! Children are taught skills to assist them with life’s pressures; breathing and relaxation techniques help with concentration and self-calming, and asanas help with endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination. The overall practice helps to develop a level of self-discipline and control.
